Guest Experience Transformed on Marco Island

Visitors are being welcomed back in style to Marco Island. All three of the island’s beachfront resort hotels – the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa, the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, and the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort – have undergone extensive renovation within the past year.

The Marriott has completely transformed after an extensive multi-year, $320 million renovation and expansion project, and rebranded as the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort on January 1, 2017. It is the first JW Marriott Beach Resort in the continental United States.

Work will continue through  early 2018 on the JW’s new adults-only Lanai Tower, which will feature 94 luxurious guestrooms, an exciting virtual entertainment center, extensive meeting space, a chef-driven restaurant, a rooftop lounge and infinity-edge pool with a clear view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Meanwhile, the resort’s North and South towers feature family-friendly guest rooms fully renovated to JW Marriott standards, a redesigned lobby and several new dining options, including all-day dining at Maia, primal dining at the signature restaurant Ario, and cocktails and light bites at Kane, a beachside tiki bar featuring over 40 varieties of rum and small plate selections with a Polynesian flare.

imageThe Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa continues renovations and enhancement to its 310 luxurious guestrooms and suites, debuting in early 2018. Meanwhile the new Deck at 560 Restaurant and Bar is open daily featuring an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant for everything from casual drinks at the pool to indoor and deck seating for lunch, cocktails and dinner. The resort’s 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, which is open and available for conferences, meetings, weddings and other social events, received an upgrade to include patios for pre- and post-event gatherings.

imageThe Marco Beach Ocean Resort completed renovation of all of its one- and two-bedroom suites and the Gulf Ballroom. The updated luxury interiors capture the essence of the boutique resort’s beachfront location in a palette of soft blues and mint greens against white and sandy-hued backdrops, with warm and washed wood tones, linen-inspired upholstery, and elegant mirror and satin nickel surfaces. Each of the resorts 77 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom suites offers a kitchenette, spacious living room and private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico or lush garden terraces.

It’s no doubt that visitors returning to Marco Island and those arriving for the first time will be surprised and delighted with all of the new hotel amenities and options.
